About My Clients
I focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, and eating disorders. I have a special interest in working with those who desire to do an exploration of the patterns affecting their relationships, with special attention to early life experiences. I have experience in helping individuals whose caregivers were detached and unavailable. Through therapy we can process and grieve those unmet needs while build safe relationships with their loved ones.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an array of approaches and offer tools that can help address current concerns. Additionally, this allows for us to explore the roots of life's challenges. I see our relationship as a dyad of mutual trust that serves as the vessel for our work. Using an attachment framework, informed by my fellowship at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy + Psychoanalysis (ICP+P), I hope to bring a sense of safety, connection, compassion, and acceptance. At your pace, we can direct our focus to integrate mind-body techniques. This is to offer relief and learn more about yourself, unburdening parts that hold painful experiences. Along the way, we can cultivate healthy boundaries and enhance our ability to witness you as whole being. Additionally, I will integrate somatic interventions for eating disorders from the Embodied Recovery Institute to offer something in conjunction to the traditional CBT framework.
