About My Clients

There are times in life when it feels like you are barely keeping your head above water. Not a fun feeling! I specialize in serving first generation Latinx/a/o/e college students and professionals in finding healing from trauma, depression, anxiety, and cultural stress. In addition, we work collaboratively to understand your thoughts and emotions while building upon powerful coping tools to manage your mental health. I look forward to helping you get your life back and to feeling empowered.

My Background and Approach

With over 10 years of social work experience, my goal is to help you be the best version of you. More importantly, I work with compassion, empathy, and am non-judgmental, while creating a safe space for you to explore and understand. You'll gain what you need to live your best life and come to realize that you are so much more than a diagnostic label. We will work together to understand your triggers and thoughts that negatively impact your mental health. So regardless of what you are dealing with, I am a true believer that you can move forward and heal. It's time to put you first and say no more to the hurt you carry. It would be my honor to help you achieve stability and build resilience for a happier and healthier life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a first generation Latina, I experienced many difficulties growing up and while in college. I am also a trauma survivor. One of the most precious values my parents taught me was the importance of helping others. This was followed by being proud of who I am. All of this led me to pursuing my social work career. I have dedicated my life to serving some of the most vulnerable and underserved populations, in particular individuals from the African American and Latino/Latinx community. I have stood up for the voiceless, I have spoken on community panels, I have spoken to officials in Congress, I have rallied, I have marched, and I don't have any plans of slowing down. My goal is to not only help eradicate stigma, but to also provide hope and resilience within these same communities. As a change agent, I want to help others feel better about themselves while breaking destructive behavioral patterns. If you want to learn more on how I can help, message me today.
