About My Clients
I work with adolescents, individuals, and couples in psychotherapy experiencing a wide range of concerns, including life transitions, conflict in relationships, spirituality, existential concerns, generational family trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, trauma and struggles with loving the body you live in. With curiosity, warmth, and empathy, I offer a safe space for reflection, exploration, and working through difficult issues.
My Background and Approach
For over 7 years I have worked with adolescents, adults, and couples with a wide range of difficulties. I work from a holistic mindset to treatment while using techniques from EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Internal Family Systems, Humanistic/Existential approaches, and other models to treat a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, eating disorders, personality disorders and dissociative disorders. I have received training in trauma oriented therapeutic models, including sensory-motor therapy, as well as EMDR. I have worked extensively with one-on-one training from professionals within the field treating highly traumatized patients and dissociative disorders over the last several years.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all have been hurt by this world one way or another and I work to provide safe space to help people show up as they are. Relational safety is paramount to the healing process since the opposite has been the catalyst of so much pain and suffering. I enjoy working with those from diverse backgrounds, orientations, and identities. I have a great passion for helping others reclaim parts of themselves that may have been disconnected due to trauma. While exploring the depth of any issue my clients need to process, I work to provide a nonjudgmental and compassionate space. I firmly believe we all have the capacity for growth and are designed to gravitate towards healing. I look forward to hearing from you.
