My Background and Approach
I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I hold a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology completed at Albizu University in my native state of Florida, and am currently pursuing licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Oregon. My approach in therapy is tailored to the needs of each individual. I use various therapeutic & coaching techniques, & provide education on your symptoms & diagnosis/diagnoses. We will work collaboratively to determine the root cause of your distress. My techniques are also accompanied by humor & rapport building to ensure our relationship is a trusting one, so you can be honest without feeling judged. I am both directive and non-directive; easy to talk to, but will call you out if you're being inauthentic, self-deprecating or self-sabotaging.
