I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brainspotting. It's an uncomfortable and frightening experience to feel panicked or anxious, whether it's an occasional or frequent occurrence. You're not alone. Perhaps experiences in your childhood or your current life situation are causing you to feel anxious. Often times working through these past hurts as well as identifying and challenging your current thought patterns can provide relief and reduce/eliminate your anxiety.

Perhaps experiences in your childhood or your current life situation are causing you to feel depressed and stuck in those feelings. We can work together to process and heal from those experiences as well as identify and challenge your current thought patterns to reduce/eliminate your depression.

I have been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Brainspotting. I have worked with clients struggling with alcohol abuse/dependence. It can be difficult trying to overcome this battle on your own. I'd like to work with you to help you have victory over this challenge.

CBT has been proven effective in the treatment of depression, anxiety, alcohol abuse/dependency, as well as several other problems. Many studies have shown it to be as effective or more effective than psychiatric medications. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on a few main principles such as: 1) faulty thoughts and learned behaviors may cause depression, anxiety and a variety of other issues; and 2) learning new ways of coping can reduce/eliminate symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Having worked with many clients struggling with alcohol and substance abuse/dependency, I have found MI to be helpful in guiding and empowering clients as they move forward in a positive direction.

As a trained Brainspotting practitioner, I have found this therapy to be effective in processing and healing from a variety of past hurts, traumas, and even current difficulties and struggles. This is a powerful brain-based therapy.
