About My Clients

Going with the flow, struggling to find meaning & joy. I'm here to help guide you through the process of understanding your feelings, identifying your needs, & creating a life that works for you. With a warm, compassionate approach, I strive to create an environment & therapeutic relationship that fosters growth, self-awareness, & lasting change.
My Background and Approach
With a compassionate, nonjudgmental, & honest style, I support clients through their process of healing, growth, & self-discovery, in the here & now. My work is integrative, grounded in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Relational, Trauma-informed, Psychodynamic, & Transpersonal. I utilize various approaches & modalities, adjusting each session to the needs of the individual. I earned my M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Prior to my career as a therapist, my work saturated in holistic practices, teaching yoga & mindfulness to children and adults, volunteering my services as a Reiki Master to patients in hospice care, & advocating for social justice & the LGBTQ+ community. I pull from this experience, incorporating the mind-body connection to support clients processing grief, sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, & chronic illness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Wholeheartedly, I believe that each of us has the capacity to heal, & I acknowledge many of us were not given the tools or opportunities needed for an easy path to healing & growth. I value & affirm all expressions of gender, sexual, cultural, class, (dis)ability, and spiritual identity. I believe that in our darkness (whatever it may be), we can always find the light. Making the decision to seek help, takes courage & vulnerability. It is the utmost form of self-care & affirming to yourself, & the universe, that you are ready to conquer your darkness. Vulnerability may be seen as the center of shame, but it's also the birthplace for beauty & growth. My purpose is to meet you wherever you are on your path & serve your needs by building awareness & providing the tools that when used foster growth. You are in control & you are the expert of your experiences. It would be an honor to support you & hold a safe place to explore not only your darkness but your light & all that makes you, you.
