About My Clients
If you are someone dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, life transition issues, identity issues and development, self-esteem or peer relationship issues, or are living with ADHD or other neurodivergent identities, then you have come to the right place. With my background, training, and clinical experiences, I can assist you in meeting your goals and moving forward, even if it doesn't feel possible yet. We got this.
My Background and Approach
My experience has been with all ages, and extensive time is spent with adolescents, young adults, and adults with many different needs. I approach my care with my clients from an integrative approach, with my primary approaches being Humanistic/Rogerian, Psychodynamic, and DBT. My focus is to provide a supportive, compassionate space for you to explore and try new coping skills & heal. I have tailored my approaches to also be genuine and real, and often use humor to help us connect and build our relationship. We build up your motivation & self-esteem together so you can feel more like yourself as days go by, and everything is done with the intent being "neurodivergent-friendly."
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can grow and heal to reach their more ideal self. We all experience life in unique ways that influence who we become as we move forward in life. I believe that through therapy and talking through the different struggles we face, we learn to accept what is as it is and then commit to changing what can be changed and improve ourselves to increase our overall happiness and maintain living in the present. Sometimes, we don't discover how things have impacted us until we are older, and that is okay. I personally have lived with undiagnosed ADHD and depression until more recent years, and through my own work personally, I have come to see how helpful and life-changing it can be to meet with a therapist who helped me learn about myself on a deeper level and change patterns that were no longer helpful to me. I want to provide to you the same kind of care and compassion that has helped me enjoy my life and feel more myself.
