About My Clients
Dara goes beyond just lending a listening ear and works with people to help them achieve intentional, discerning, health-centered living. She offers guidance and inspiration with compassion to those facing crises, life pressures, career challenges, family turmoil, or mental illness with the goal of giving people the clarity and tools with which to identify and overcome obstacles.
My Background and Approach
Over the years, Dara earned the respect and trust of those for and with whom she worked, leading to her transition from confidant and sounding board to the high-profile individual to her official capacity as a clinical social worker and counselor. Dara combines her 15+ years of experience as a clinical social worker, for the U.S. Military and now in private practice working with families and youth, and incorporates what she gleaned from her 14+ years as a Tour Manager in the entertainment industry to advise her clients in managing their daily life challenges in a healthy way. Dara's ultimate goal is to encourage others ''do life better'', and the integrity of her work is at the core of A Better Mind, A Better Me, LLC. The practice is dedicated to giving people the advantage of shifting their life's trajectory by prioritizing their mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. Dara takes a dual approach to counseling by working both toward a better ''mind ''and ultimately, a better ''me.
