About My Clients
I prefer working with individuals who are motivated to change. I start where you're at, and we can work together from there. I enjoy working with both children and adults. I have a wide range of experience including working with adults with anxiety, mood and psychotic disorders, trauma experiences, Borderline Personality and substance use. I've also worked with children with trauma experiences, anxiety and mood disorders, family issues and adjustment challenges.
My Background and Approach
I use a Person Centered Cognitive Behavioral approach. Our life experiences are colored by core beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Core beliefs that no longer benefit us can be challenged. My specialties include child development, mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders and anger management. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy when working with clients.
