My work is based on brain science techniques that rewire neural connections in the brain to help people no longer be held back by old patterns, negative thoughts, and self-doubt. This approach produces long-lasting results, and the results are easier to maintain over time.
Specific therapeutic tools I use include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) which work through rewiring the pathways in the brain so that destructive thought patterns are interrupted and replaced with more adaptive thought processes. This creates a new way of thinking and feeling and helps clients to live more fulfilled and free lives.
I believe that we can all learn to take healthy risks, disrupt the unhealthy status quo, and make one choice at a time toward a freer existence. We can actively choose to live our life the way we want and create more joy on a daily basis. And there are tangible tools that can help us. We live in an exciting and empowering time because we now have science-backed, evidence-based therapeutic techniques that can provide true relief and healing from past negative experiences! And, even though I hold big dreams for my clients, I know that change is a slow and methodical process. I am grounded in reality while incorporating mindfulness, yoga, and breathing techniques that are scientifically shown to reduce stress and anxiety.
