About My Clients

I feel confident working with aging populations, adults, and teens. My strengths are working with bereavement, chronic illness, new medical diagnosis, divorce, co-parenting, relationship issues, sexuality, and depression. I would love to offer perspective and assist clients while adjusting to major life changes. I hope we can work together, and I can offer support for individuals that are stuck or want to explore the possibility of their best life. I believe in a holistic approach.

My Background and Approach

Cristina graduated Eastern Washington University with degrees in Women’s and Gender Studies and Social Work. She completed Master programs at Portland State University. Cristina graduated Suma Cum Laude and participated in community outreach programs while attending college. She completed minors in Afriacana Studies, Sociology, and History. This gives her insight into diverse populations and an understanding of complex systems. Cristina has worked in bereavement counseling and has experience with broad spectrum of behavioral and social issues that can influence our daily life experiences.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Talk therapy is a journey of self-enrichment and growth. I hope to bring awareness to past events, cultural views and life experiences that will assist clients to achieve individual life goals through a healing therapeutic relationship. I believe by meeting clients where they are that clients can begin to see their best version of self. Through improved self-awareness clients can live wholeheartedly and improve relationships, self-esteem, and overall health. I hope to engage my clients to learn new tools to coping with life’s challenges and move towards adjustment to new environments and circumstances. My clients can feel supported and validated following loss, complex life circumstances, grief and past trauma. “We never know where life will take us, so we may as well be happy living the best we can in our situation, and if possible, make changes that improve our happiness.” Cristina Kille, LAICSW
