About My Clients
I specialize in couples therapy using an integrative Emotionally Focused approach. I offer teletherapy and Nature-Based approaches to help with relationship struggles, stress, communication, infidelity, and more. Through Nature-Based therapy, couples can process, recover, and grow from their experiences to continue forward in their life with positive coping skills and a deeper understanding of self and loved ones.
My Background and Approach
I am a Mental Health Clinician at Northland Adventure Education & Therapy Center, Inc. Starting in Fall 2022, I will be a PhD student in Couples and Family Therapy. I am a non-licensed, non-certified psychotherapist rostered with the State of Vermont and under supervision by a licensed professional. I utilize Couples and Family Therapy theories for my practice with couples with a Nature-Based approach or through virtual services. Nature-based therapy sessions often involve elements of nature. Nature-based therapy utilizes components of Ecotherapy. This can be through talk therapy outdoors, walking in nature with a therapy animal, or playing outside. Through these various interactions with nature, we are able to foster an environment for healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion is working with couples and relationship partners to improve connection and communication. Further, I believe in Nature-Based therapy practices. Through our therapeutic relationship involving nature, we can make positive changes in your relationship with yourself, others, and your environment.
