About My Clients
I currently have availability for children, individual, couple, and family therapy sessions! I utilize Nature-Based (Ecotherapy) approaches to help with stress, anxiety, depression, children's behavioral concerns, relationship struggles, and more. Through Nature-Based therapy, children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families can process, recover, and grow from their experiences to continue forward in their life with positive coping skills and a deeper understanding of self and/or loved ones.
My Background and Approach
I am a third year Master's degree student completing my Clinical Internship at Northland Adventure Education & Therapy Center, Inc. I am a non-licensed, non-certified psychotherapist rostered with the State of Vermont and under supervision by a licensed professional. I utilize Couples and Family Therapy theories for my practice with children, individuals, couples, and families with a Nature-Based approach or through virtual services. Nature-based therapy sessions often involve elements of nature. Nature-based therapy utilizes components of Ecotherapy. This can be through talk therapy outdoors, walking in nature with a therapy animal, or playing outside. Through these various interactions with nature, we are able to foster an environment for healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in Nature-Based therapy practices. Through our therapeutic relationship involving nature, we can make positive changes in your relationship with yourself, others, and your environment.
