I believe in the healing power of human connection and recognize that our daily experiences may contribute to symptoms of depression, anxiety and other unwanted health outcomes. I appreciate the vulnerability of people who choose to share their stories with me and enjoy working with people who want support as they engage in self-exploration to make sense of the complexities and intersections of their identities.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative, with a focus on understanding the systemic and environmental forces that contribute to our understanding of this world, ourselves, and our relationships. I also utilize skills and techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
