About My Clients
Clients who feel misunderstood, inadequate, and lonely often feel recharged, heard, and inspired after working with me. Many people struggling with depression, anxiety, and the fear that “it’s too late” have gotten their life back through our work. I've helped many who struggle with depression, anxiety, and PTSD recover their lives, set boundaries, and cultivate relationships full of delight, appreciation, and empathy.
My Background and Approach
As a queer and creative therapist, I have many inroads to supporting artists, trauma survivors, and the LGBTQ community. I use ACT and DBT for individual work, and the Gottman Method for couples. These are all evidence-based approaches that allow space for flexibility, humor, and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a creative weirdo who loves animals and nature. Satya Counseling is dear to me because of my own space in the LGBTQ community. I enjoy researching new topics, scouring Wikipedia, snuggling my cat and Chihuahua, binge reading, listening to podcasts, making art and jewelry, going to horror and film festivals, spending time with friends, and swimming in any body of water I can find.
