About My Clients
Are you dealing with a faith crises or transition, or feel alone on your faith journey? Are you struggling to deal with your sexuality in a heteronormative world? Are you experiencing depression or anxiety? Any of this can seem overwhelming and impossible to deal with. I'm proud to bring my professional training and experience (as well as empathy from my own personal experience with these issues) to my practice. I'm looking forward to helping you and walking alongside you on this journey.
My Background and Approach
When we first meet, I really want to make sure I understand you holistically and that you feel safe and heard. I then work collaboratively with you to create a personalized plan moving forward. I can draw from a wide variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to find what suits you best and will hold a space for you to feel safe as you explore, grow, and heal.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist who regularly attends therapy myself, I believe therapy works! I believe that everyone has strengths and abilities that can help them deal with whatever brings them to therapy. My goal is to work alongside you to help you understand how to use the tools you already have (or ones you gain in therapy) in order to reduce your distress and empower yourself. Ultimately, you are the expert of your life and it would be an honor to be a part of your journey.
