Oral histories have been the cornerstone of our development, not only as a species but as individuals. Telling stories is in our very nature, transmitting what we have learned from those before us, adding what we know to be accurate, proclaiming this knowledge in the hopes of shaping our future. Stories are not just used to disseminate information amongst the masses; we tell stories about ourselves every day. These are the stories that I focus on, combined with those we let the world know about. The narratives that dive deep into who we are at the core of Self are the narratives that hold pearls of wisdom and insight into how we function. The core story or stories (there definitely can be multiple) are valid in their own right. However, that does not mean they do not hold misinformation or gaps in the plot we have overlooked. This incongruent narrative causes friction with our daily life.
