About My Clients
Think about if you woke up each morning looked in the mirror and felt happy instead of the shame of having another relapse or making a bad decision. Imagine the energy you would have to move forward towards achieving your personal goals. I offer individual sessions that are flexible to your needs and busy schedule including weekends. Can't make it to the office, no problem. I am certified in telehealth also. Together, we'll create a customized plan to get your life back on track.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master's Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Addictions. I am a Licensed Addiction Professional and Certified Life Coach. I have worked as a Outpatient Therapist with children and adults for many years. I find my true passion is helping others who are struggling with negative emotional states, compulsive behaviors, addictions and low self-esteem. I enjoy helping people reach inside and turn those dark places around so that they can see the wonderful person that they forgot they truly are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone should be able to afford mental health treatment despite not having insurance. I work with people in that area because I understand the true value of mental health care. I am a firm believer that all people should be treated the same. My father raised me to treat others how I want to be treated. I am a mother of 4 children and I have instilled those values and beliefs in them as well. I enjoy blogging. I am an avid reader, yoga enthusiast and somewhat of a beach bum. I live in sunny Florida so I love going to the beach for peace and quiet. Also I am a silly dog mom. I adopted a Shih Tzu/Poodle mix about 1 1/2 years ago who I love or actually I guess she pretty much adopted me.
