About My Clients

You know that thing that randomly comes to mind an suddenly you find yourself unable to focus on anything else? That's likely trauma and it may keep coming up because your brain is too overwhelmed trying to process it. If it's hard for you to move past it, making you anxious it may be something worth processing with a therapist.
My Background and Approach
I strive to be honest and authentic with all of my clients. I want to develop a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can share your feelings and thoughts without worrying if you are a burden. For therapy to be successful it has to be a collaboration of goals we make together, which is why I really focus on every person who enters my virtual therapy room. Together, we'll create a customized treatment plan that suits your unique needs. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is the main approach I use when helping my clients recover from trauma. It is clinically proven to be an extremely effective evidence based form of therapy to help processing your experience and discover new, more helpful ways of coping.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you deserve to effectively address personal life challenges. Therapy is meant to build on your existing strengths and focus on personal goals towards living a more peaceful life by helping you navigate and process current and past challenges you may be facing. I approach therapy with you in the driver seat and, I am there help guide you with tools but you get to set the pace!
