About My Clients
I work with people who are struggling with life changes, grief from the loss of a loved one, the painful end of a relationship, low self esteem or self-worth, or challenges related to being an HSP. In therapy, you can find a safe and accepting space to process these painful experiences and together we work to break through barriers to happiness, build coping skills to navigate life's ups and downs with peace and ease, and heal emotional wounds that hold you back from being your authentic self.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, you should be the most important person in the room and I work hard to make sure you feel seen, heard, and understood. I use a collaborative, client-centered, strength-based approach to help you explore things from your past or the present that make life harder than it needs to be. I believe in the power of validation, that you are the expert of your own life, and that your lived experiences are fundamental to our work together. I don't believe that change always requires major action. Together we will identify small steps you can take to create big changes in your sense of self, your relationships, your career and your life. Things like change, stress, grief and conflict make life hard. If you're struggling to get over a significant loss, adjust to major life transitions, increase your self-esteem, find contentment in your life, or cope with ongoing relationship issues, please reach out. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Good therapy is made up of 3 integral parts: one part insight, awareness and self-understanding, one part action-oriented skill-building, and one part context-based truths like culture, identity, social systems and frameworks, environment, and family of origin. In our work together, I strive to integrate all of these parts into the therapy room so we can recognize how each part is impacting your present and your future. In a collaborative way, we will focus on which areas are important to you and which ones will have the biggest impact on your healing and will lead to the greatest positive change in your life.
