Each person is unique, and this means clients benefit from different counseling styles. I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and tailor sessions to address their needs.
My Background and Approach
Trauma can leave us feeling like we have no control over the details of our lives and can make us feel unsafe, anxious, and many other emotions that make daily functioning harder. An essential part of trying to heal is learning the tools that can help us develop coping skills and techniques to navigate through life. Sometimes we benefit from talking with someone who doesn’t know us, to allow space for an outside perspective. You deserve someone who will listen, provide empathy, and understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe everyone deserves to control their own narrative, so as a counselor my goal is to help clients tell their own story and to have a safe space to speak freely without judgment.
