My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters in Social Work (with a concentration in Older Adults and Families) from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2011. Since that time, I have worked as a social worker in a variety of community and hospital-based settings building experience working with adults of all ages and genders across the lifespan on the unique impact of trauma and other life stressors on a person's sense of identity, anxiety levels, mood, health, relationships, and overall quality of life. I have experience with many different therapeutic approaches- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, etc. and work with each person to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of every individual.
