We currently live in a society with systems that perpetuates trauma and white supremacy on bodies of all shapes, genders, sizes, locations, and colors. No person is unaffected by trauma of these systems and disconnection within themselves and to their fellow humans due to them. Therefore healing is both internal and external in nature and process. Individual and collective healing is therefore part of the journey of healing.
When you feel like nothing you do is good enough, that things won't change, and worry about every decision you make, these internal messages have history--in ourselves, in our family, and our society. I want to hold a space for us to journey into these thoughts and feelings together, understand where they come from, what systems they belong to, and start the process of healing trauma and anxiety. Doing so you'll notice a change in yourself, in your relationships, and the way you engage in the world. We can do it together.
