My Background and Approach
My passion for counseling is driven by a desire to help individuals uncover happiness within themselves and their lives. Over the course of my 20-year career, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, in a range of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and correctional facilities. I have observed that individuals frequently face challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Consequently, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals heal from these issues. Together we will uncover the root causes of your struggles, identify recurring patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back, learn practical skills and techniques to effectively navigate your mental health in the long run. My dedication lies in creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions, and feel genuinely understood.
