My Background and Approach
I seek to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space, conducive to fostering healing and promoting self-discovery. I use an integrative approach by incorporating elements of client-centered and cognitive behavioral therapies with mindfulness-based practices, EMDR, and art therapy. Through our work together, you will gain perspective about the past and insight into the present while building resiliency, acquiring skills, and overcoming obstacles that are preventing you from living your ideal life. Interested in Art Therapy? The creative process, inherent in everyone, can be used as a meaningful tool to help develop personal insight, express feelings, relieve stress, and look at things from a new perspective, as well as provide an insightful, effective, and refreshing experience in therapy. Art-making can be integrated into the therapeutic process occasionally or utilized as the main approach.
