About My Clients
I tend to relate easily to my clients, listening to their concerns and am able to provide guidance when it is appropriate. I feel that it is important for the therapist and the client to have a good connection in order to help in the therapy process. I initially use Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies, but as I get to know my clients more and their specific difficulties I will use other modalities as necessary. My Background and Approach
I have worked a lot with individuals, and teenagers. I have worked with individuals that are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addictions, partner and family difficulties, sexual identity, and job stressors. I’ve also been working as a School Psychologist for the past 15 years in the high schools.
