I am passionate about working with and supporting survivors of sexual trauma. I have advocated alongside survivors in hospital settings, on crisis phone lines, been an advocate at a child advocacy center connecting children and families to services and supports, and most recently, I have been providing individual trauma therapy to adults to help them heal from their sexual trauma.

Through my work at a local mental health clinic and then the local child advocacy center, I have worked with individuals and families who have experienced many forms of abuse including sexual, physical, emotional/mental, and others.

I have experience working with individuals diagnosed with PTSD who have experienced childhood and/or more recent trauma.

I have experience helping individuals heal from trauma utilizing Progressive Counting, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR.

I utilize motivational interviewing as a tool to help individuals identify where they would like to see themselves, what goals they would like to focus on, and to help them move forward towards their goals.

I was trained in EMDR in June 2018 and receive regular consultation. I have utilized EMDR with countless clients and have seen it help to decrease symptoms and stress related to upsetting trauma memories.

I have worked alongside many folks in the LGBTQ+ community. I feel honored and privileged to provide therapy that affirms those in the community.
