I like to start with what has brought you into therapy and seeking help, starting with what's going on right now and giving you the tools to deal with those issues. We will work collaboratively to identify goals and track progress. I take a holistic approach; looking at mind, body and spirit. We will address trauma and adverse childhood experiences, relationships, career, and self-care. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is a type of psychotherapy in which negative patterns of thoughts are challenged in order to change unwanted behavior patterns and/or target mood disorders such as depression. Basically it helps you retrain your brain to think differently with the goal of feeling and acting differently. We will work together to retrain your brain and get you on the path to your best life.
