About My Clients

The clients I have the privilege of working with are intelligent, kind and intuitive people who seek counseling when they realize that anxiety and ruminations are inhibiting their ability to live their lives to the fullest capacity.

My Background and Approach

I graduated from Boston College with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I began my clinical experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral issues, particularly those that impact school performance. I have also facilitated individual and group therapy for children and teenagers with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, high-functioning Autism, anger issues, depression, and anxiety. I have since diversified my clinical knowledge further by transitioning into a role providing mental health services to clients of all ages with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder and other anxiety-related issues.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My clinical strength comes from my ability to help these clients feel understood, rather than ashamed, stereotyped or “less than.” I tailor my treatment approach to the individual needs of each client, but tend to draw from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). My goal is to help clients identify self-limiting beliefs, allow themselves fully feel their emotions without judgment, discover new perspectives, and identify opportunities for personal growth.
