About My Clients
You're tired of struggling with obsessive thoughts about food and your body. Maybe you've been stuck restricting, emotional eating, binging, or over-exercising. You work hard to stick to the plan, but you just feel like you can’t be trusted around food. People think you “have it all” but inside it feels like you’re a total fraud. Each day, you're determined to do things differently, but you have no idea where to start. I can help.
My Background and Approach
Life with an eating disorder is filled with secrets, but therapy with me offers a space to be and say exactly who you are. People struggling with eating disorders are some of the brightest, most driven, and creative people I’ve met, but the chaotic thoughts, behaviors, and obsessions are getting in their way. I help my clients to uncover and believe in their greatness. Together, we can make immediate changes to those sabotaging thoughts and behaviors. With new skills in your toolbox, we can also delve into the tough stuff, exploring the pain you’ve been in and what’s underneath it. I help my clients to explore their values, determine what a recovered life looks like for them, and take steps to get there.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that full recovery is possible for everyone and I practice from a size- inclusive, Health At Every Size (HAES) perspective.
