About My Clients
A large chunk of my practice is with the gender diverse population and LGBTQ+ community. I enjoy helping folx explore their background, experiences, and belief systems. Clinically, I have experience with anxiety disorders, life adjustment concerns, family systems /conflict, and spiritual doubt or questioning. I find meaning and purpose in the work I get to do with people and consider it a sacred practice to sit with those seeking resolution and remedy regardless of their presenting issue.
My Background and Approach
(Not currently accepting new clients.) I work primarily with individuals ages 16 and up. Depending on the area of need and situation, I am available for couples and family therapy as well. My priority is inhabiting a warm and comfortable space for clients to feel safe working towards their goals or intentions. We will do this work together through curiosity, conversation, exploration and dialogue. I believe you to be the expert on you and that each person is capable of living a vulnerable and authentic life with themselves, with others, and with the world. My job is to be a supportive and non-judgemental collaborator in that process. I approach therapy with the attitude that I am not perfect, I do not hold "the answers", and that it is not my job to "fix" you. Rather, it is my intention that I will hold the light on your path until you can hold it yourself.
