Exploring topics of racism, discrimination, colorism, internalized oppression, migration stories, and resilience as it relates to family of origin, culture of origin, and personal identity. Of particular interest in working with those who self-identify as Southeast Asian.

Complex trauma (historical, cultural, intergenerational, developmental, vicarious) and PTSD; recovering and healing from painful experiences and memories. Of particular interest working with those who are survivors of war and genocide, refugees, survivors of sexual violence, childhood abuse, and intimate partner violence/domestic abuse.

In order to feel good about ourselves and our lives we need to have good relationships with others. Connection matters, disconnection leads to distress, authenticity is key, and the past informs the present. If we are depressed or anxious, inevitably it can be traced back to tension or breakdowns in relationships, or an inability to connect. Explores how your background and past experiences are causing you to relate to others in unhelpful ways that leave you unhappy.
