About My Clients
Are you experiencing a life transition (new child, new job, loss of job, career change, etc.)? Are you feeling overwhelmed with work, school, and/or life? Are you having interpersonal issues with loved ones and friends? Do you find it difficult to sleep at night due to overflowing thoughts? Do you wake up on edge? Have you felt at times short of breath, heart pounding, and there is no medical reason? It is my desire to guide you on the path of balance and equanimity.
My Background and Approach
Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques with a focus on mindfulness, though my approach may appear structured, I meet clients where they are. I have worked in long-term mental health facilities, substance use treatment facilities, and a community service board that focused on supporting those in the community with mental health and substance use concerns. With this experience, it has become my goal to help you learn more about yourself in a way that is gentle yet challenging. I am here to listen, support, and provide coping skills to those who feel unheard. Please feel free to contact me for questions or to schedule an appointment.
