About My Clients
Do you feel that your need to be perfect has created unrealistic expectations in your relationships with yourself and has caused chronic distress? Do you feel that you have become critical of self to the point where your flaws are the main focus and lost sense of yourself? This may have made it challenging to really feel fulfilled in all areas of your life and has affected the way you engage in your relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University and I've worked at several mental health agencies with diverse populations who were both, facing mental health concerns, and dealing with relationship issues. As a therapist, I work really hard to understand and create the space where clients can be their true self. I invest in the therapeutic relationship to create safety, respect, and trust with my clients. I take a collaborative approach and utilize humor and compassion to help clients make better choices for themselves. I am attentive to how relational patterns, trauma and the environment impacts your life and current struggles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It's my goal to get you to a place where you feel seen, heard, and can be your authentic self. Whether you are an individual or a couple who is seeking therapy, I have always appreciated the feeling of being understood. When someone takes the initiative to understand you, you feel less alone and empowered to place value in exploring your feelings and thoughts.
