About My Clients

My background includes work with college students, young adults, adults, and couples. Through my counseling services, I can help you to confront and manage the effects of abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, relationship problems, marital/premarital issues, self esteem problems, and school or career-related issues. My clients may be new to therapy, or they may be returning. They may be hesitant about this type of self-work, or they may be ready to get started. I am here for all of them.

My Background and Approach

I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) who has experience working with young adults, adults, and couples. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. I have in-depth experience working with college students and young adults on personal, academic, and career-related stressors, including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, grief, and burnout. I also help couples work through some of the day-to-day issues that can stress relationships. I utilize various theories and methods in my counseling, and have adopted an integrated or eclectic approach in order to best meet everyone's individual needs. Everyone’s journey is different, and it is my goal to offer you the space and the tools to create the change that you want to see in your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Wherever you are along your therapeutic journey, I am there to support you. You and I will work together to understand the implications of your personal experiences, concerns, and stories. We will also partner together to develop your treatment plans and goals. I am here to help guide you in the development of your personal and/or career goals. My methods include an integrated or eclectic approach to counseling, which includes humanistic, psychodynamic, and post-modern therapeutic approaches.
