My work with anger management began at Womack Medical Center in their Family Advocacy Program where I taught weekly, anger management groups for Soldiers of mixed nationalities and gender. The 6 week course addressed issues such as identifying your body cues, childhood experiences shaping our anger styles, and the skills/techniques for changing your psychological/physiological response to external and internal stimuli. I have since gone on to apply these methods in my private practice.
I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapist (CBT) through the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy and DoD military training. As a CBT therapist the strategies I provide help to solve relationship problems, handle stress better, improve your self-esteem, become less fearful and to be more confident. By teaching you skills to change your thought processes, knowledge base and perceptions ,your moods and behaviors are positively impacted and new behaviors learned.
My experience in SA has focused on inpatient therapy and group work. Upon entering the private sector the focus has shifted to outpatient care that addresses the various areas of clients' lives as they walk through the perils of sobriety or struggles of social drinking. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies, also introduced in my therapy sessions, help change your cyclical thought patterns, emotional struggles and impulsive actions that keep you trapped.

Your journey into depression began with just one step. Fortunately it does not take the same amount of steps on your way out.
My goal is to help couples rediscover the love they have for each other that has been slowly strangled by power struggles, unresolved childhood experiences and un-forgiveness. By improving communication skills (listening, understanding and patience) together we will restore the passion and intimacy in your marriage and identify the common vision of your dream relationship. Marriage is hard work and only the persistent couple survives. Purpose in your heart to be that couple.
