I have had personal experience as well as professional experience with clients who experience high levels of anxiety. Everyone has anxiety at times. I will help you understand what happens to you when you are in the fight or flight response, help you discover healthy coping skills, educate you on relaxation techniques, and show you how to change your negative thoughts into positive thoughts.
It is difficult to do what is necessary to help you get of feeling depressed when you do not have energy, you want to isolate, and you are not motivated. I will help you take small daily steps to improve your mood while learning how to change your thinking from negative to positive. It’s time to start enjoying life.
I have worked with Dementia patients and caregivers for over 20 years in various job roles. My grandmother, grandfather, & father all had Dementia. I will help caregivers with dealing with anticipatory grief, dealing with day to day life and also how to see the person underneath the disease. For patients with Dementia, I will give them a safe place to process their feelings while helping them with the depression and anxiety that often comes with Dementia.
Our core beliefs and thoughts make up our reality. If we have negative core beliefs, we will always look at life through these lenses. Thoughts, Feelings/Emotions, and Behaviors are all connected. I help clients change their negative thoughts and beliefs into positive ones. We know from research thoughts can break generational patterns and even change our physical health.
