About My Clients
I have extensive experience working with youth, adolescents, individuals, and families in public agency and community-based settings. I am passionate about supporting clients through life difficulties and transitions.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Foresight. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and my Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, self-esteem, spirituality, school issues, occupational issues, life coaching, stress-management, foster care issues, and LGBTQ issues. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, culturally-humble, humanistic perspective: focusing on radical acceptance and self-compassion. I aim to help individuals live the life they truly envision for themselves using interventions from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
