About My Clients

You are ready to dive in and explore the inner workings of your life in order to understand, heal, and thrive. You may find my services particularly effective if you are: - going through transition (career/livelihood, relational, geographical, physical, financial, and so on), - wanting to explore past traumatic experiences, - seeking support for: learning or acquired physical disabilities, stress, anxiety, depression, - or simply have parts of your life you would like to change.

My Background and Approach

I use a client-centered approach to therapy and enjoy meeting the client where they are at on any given day. I lean toward spiritual, nature-based/outdoor and expressive therapy modalities, alongside talk therapy. Clients are welcome to have sessions in the office, in nature (walk and talk or other alternatives depending on weather, ability, and comfort), and some availability for video session. I have extensive training in and experience with dream exploration, spiritual approaches to therapy, and therapeutic use of the tarot (different from a "tarot reading"). I have been told I am very approachable, caring and direct, playful - using humor when appropriate, and always welcome feedback about what does and does not work for you. I typically see clients on a once-weekly session basis, although after you are an established client, we may discuss every other week if desired.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe our unconscious mind has a lot to share with us were we to listen; therefore, mindfulness and curiosity are valuable tools in sessions for increasing awareness and facilitating change in your life. I believe we all have a right to just treatment as a human. And, oppression is everywhere. I am committed to social justice and decolonization of the mind, for myself and to help bring awareness to others who perpetuate it. I am also a steward of the earth and animals, hence my focus on nature-based therapy.

I have experience with the following
  • Agnosticism
  • Buddhism
  • Interfaith
