About My Clients
Stuckness. We've all been there at some point in our lives in some way or another. Whether it presents as depression, anxiety, OCD, substance or behavioral addictions, PTSD, or more, the essential feeling of being stuck is so similar. Through the hard work of acceptance and change, I help clients find healing and build lives of meaning and fulfillment.
My Background and Approach
With ten years of social work and nonprofit experience, I have accompanied people with diverse backgrounds, challenges, and values. As a a clinical social worker, I seek to embody anti-oppression, affirm all identities, and prioritize sustainable, just, and holistic system change. I am well-trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which helps people live meaningful and fulfilling lives amidst the world’s inevitable chaos, beauty, and pain. I also draw from DBT, somatics, motivational interviewing, exposure therapy, and compassion-focused therapy. My experience, training, and expertise allow me to provide an adaptable, holistic and embodied approach to meet each person’s unique challenges, values, and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that life is hard, pain is inevitable, and injustice is real. I also believe that, regardless of circumstances and experiences, each of us can make decisions small and large that can help us uncover a more vibrant and meaningful life.
