With ten years of social work and nonprofit experience, I have accompanied people with diverse backgrounds, challenges, and values. As a a clinical social worker, I seek to embody anti-oppression, affirm all identities, and prioritize sustainable, just, and holistic system change.
I am well-trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which helps people live meaningful and fulfilling lives amidst the world’s inevitable chaos, beauty, and pain. I also draw from DBT, somatics, motivational interviewing, exposure therapy, and compassion-focused therapy. My experience, training, and expertise allow me to provide an adaptable, holistic and embodied approach to meet each person’s unique challenges, values, and goals.
I believe that life is hard, pain is inevitable, and injustice is real. I also believe that, regardless of our circumstances and experiences, each of us has the ability to make decisions small and large to live a more healthy and beautiful life.
