Being human isn’t always easy. Sometimes, it feels impossible. Everything here matters. Thoughts, feelings, memories, sensations all matter. The process of talking and being heard leads to tension release and allows thoughts and feelings to be expressed. It may, at times, be difficult to put things into words. Art therapy is another language, another way to get what is on the inside, out. Together, we look at what has kept you feeling stuck, drawing connections between external events and internal experiences. New thoughts, feelings, and perceptions arise that create a sense of expansiveness and flexibility and help provide other options in responding to the world. I hold a Masters in Counseling and Art Therapy and have extensive experience with adults, teens, and children who’ve experienced a wide range of issues, including trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns and other obstacles that get in the way of living a fulfilling life.
