About My Clients
The clients I tend to attract are women, queer, non-binary and trans individuals. I approach my work with a calm, direct and warm style while upholding a strength based, feminist and psychodynamic lens. Whether it is relationships, workplace issues, substances, food, body-image, self-esteem or co-dependency that you are struggling with, I think I can help. I strive to support all my clients in feeling empowered and grounded while being there most authentic self.
My Background and Approach
I have a Master's in Integral Counseling Psychology so I uphold mindfulness and Easter traditions as integral components of therapy. When working with individuals I employ a psychodynamic, transpersonal and relational emphasis in order to develop an ecological understanding of how we come to be who we are. Using our past as a reference point can be helpful in shifting out of old patterns and ways of relating that no longer serve us. I help clients develop the ability to re-parent and resource ourselves as adults in order to feel empowered as their own agents of change. My work with couples has been supported by trainings with Esther Perel and Ellyn Bader in the Couple's Developmental Model. Couples benefit from my approach and have experienced our work as "effective and transformative." I have helped many couples develop healthy communication, resolve conflict, and explore future goals.
