About My Clients
I work well with those undergoing anxiety from existential threats, including but not limited to: climate change grief, eco-emotional issues, technological impacts to self-concept and relationships, state of the world panic and dis-ease based on upheaval.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and Connecticut and am EMDR-Certified
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I incorporate intersectionality into the therapeutic space. Socio-political issues that are being engaged with and exposed in the collective are inclusive of mental health issues and must be addressed. Threading trauma and attachment work into the myriad modalities I work with, including depth and psychodynamics, narrative and expressive arts, play therapy and family systems— means that you are met in the consulting room as a whole human. A humanistic approach must include intersectionality and social engagement. Outside of therapeutic work, I am engaged in socio-political research, writing and engagement in the climate crisis space. Inclusive and affirmative; I have and experience working with Trans, BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Poly individuals and couples.
