About My Clients
**I am unfortunately not accepting new clients at this time.** I have experience working with LGBTQ+ folks, non-monogamy, and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I have helped people with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma (both systemic and personal), and a variety of other mental health concerns.
My Background and Approach
As a Feminist person-centered clinician, I practice compassion and intention with every client, and believe that each client’s experiences are valid and important. Therapy should be a collaboration between the counselor and the client, and I am here to support your growth in building toward your future goals. I am an advocate for not only people to be safe, but to thrive. Let me help you process the past, find stability in the present, and set goals for the future. I value growth and learning, and am always ready and excited to learn new approaches to mental health counseling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work from a feminist, anti-racist, and anti-oppression lens in both my personal and professional lives. I value reproductive justice, economic justice, racial justice, and gender justice. I truly do believe that "washing one's hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral" (Paulo Friere). Everyone should have the opportunity to access competent mental health care, regardless of financial ability. Therefore, I offer sliding scale rates for all clients.
