About My Clients

Life has not been easy lately. Maybe you feel stuck, alone, or in a different place than you expected. Things don’t always go as planned, but being present in your life doesn’t have to equate to suffering in the ways you may have experienced. In therapy, I can help you get out from under the trap of avoidance and back into the present moment, where lasting change can happen.

My Background and Approach

Drawing heavily from Humanistic and Positive psychology, and taking a strength-based approach; we’ll work together on attainable goals. It is an inherent need to feel seen, heard, and appreciated; something that systemic issues and inequalities often invalidate. As an anti-oppressive, queer-affirming therapist; our time together is a place for you to process life events and challenges. The true purpose of anxiety is to motivate us. Together, we can use the energy within it to promote peace, rather than discomfort.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Many of our interactions with others now occur online. Social media often devalues individuality and deteriorates our self-esteem. It can have us feeling pressured into conforming, or even aiming for something that doesn’t exist. These days, it’s difficult to distinguish what is real from what is not. Together, we can learn how to find your unique, true, self. I honor the opportunity to be a witness and guide on your journey.
