About My Clients

I've a passion for supporting youth & young adults, high achievers, social and human service professionals, millennials, new parents, LGBT couples, media and entertainment creatives, and spiritual seekers. People come to me most often with their relationship concerns, self-care and boundary maintenance, anxieties and grief about current events and socio-political stressors, work-life balance, broader life and identity questions, and sexuality themes.

My Approach to Helping

In past lives, I've raised dogs, freelanced for newspapers, assembled tech crews for theater, provided psychedelic integration and support for explorers, marched with and documented civil protests, canvassed and recruited volunteers for civil rights causes, and still find time to work with public health advocacy groups at events and festivals throughout California. All this is to say, I have an eclectic background that results in a very flexible, holistic, and organic form of therapy for others. I pull from varying approaches of psychotherapy and sociological insight to provide a custom-fit experience for you. This means that some times, we might watch our thoughts... other times, I might challenge an idea... and yet other times, I'll pause to draw our attention to something that might clue us into a step forward. Whatever happens happens as a result of my transparency and our collaboration.

Why I Became a Therapist

My first passion was sociology and education, and I pursued this through academia, volunteering, and social activism for marriage equality and drug policy reform in California. I sought to change and improve our systems whatever I could. After spiritually transformative experiences personally and as a volunteer with clinical studies on the effects of psychedelics in treating social anxiety in Autism Spectrum Adults, I switched gears to psychology and mental health, finding my skills best suited for more intimate settings, where more intention and focus can be honed on supporting a few people at a time. I also work with the next wave of psychedelic scientists and healers, providing harm reduction services to events and festivals that includes substance education and outreach, to drug policy reform advocacy. My life is my message.
