About My Clients
I specialize in helping people go from emotional pain to emotional freedom. In addition to general anxiety/depression, I’ve had great success in helping women through pre- and post-natal depression/anxiety, as well as helping college students through life-changing events. Inner peace is around the corner. The first step is reaching out for help.
My Background and Approach
Cognitive Behavioral therapy has been proved to be effective to overcome symptoms of depression. Since 2005, I have been using this type of therapy with my clients therefore I have the knowledge and experience with it. I have gotten as well training on postpartum Depression and have served many women that are experiencing it. They come to my office feeling overwhelm , isolated and most of the time suffering in silence since unfortunately there is still stigma about this mental health condition among others. I listen to you without judgment and teach you techniques and coping skills that help you overcome and manage your symptoms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people has the potential to overcome toxic ways to deal with events in their lives but sometimes it can be overwhelming to do it on their own. I become a social worker because I wanted to help people and through my profession I have been able to achieve that. I listen to my clients with compassion and empathy and at thier own pace help them to acquire coping skills so that they can move from negative beliefs and dysfunctional behaviors to healthy ones. My own healthy coping skills are exercise , meditation and time spend with my family and friends.
