About My Clients
I'm passionate about and specialize in LGBTQIA identity, gender identity and exploration, grief and loss, and trauma and attachment. I especially enjoy working with folks eager to release old patterns and curious to explore new growth and healing.
My Background and Approach
You are the expert on your life and experience, and your goals and desired focus direct our work together. I am here to provide structure, curiosity, and empathy, and challenge you where needed. I use an integrative, psychodynamic approach incorporating Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy, and Narrative Exposure Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am white, queer, and non-binary, and genuinely enjoy supporting people in their healing journey. I completed my graduate degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, with a specialization in sex therapy, from Lewis and Clark Graduate School. I am anti-racist and equity focused in my work. This means I am sex, kink, body, and fat-positive, incorporate the tenets of disability justice into my practice, and aim to provide polyamory / non-monogamy and neurodivergent affirming care. Our lives are political, and our mental health and well-being is always tied to the systems and structures we live within.
