About My Clients
I specialize in working with high sensitivity (HSPs) and trauma recovery. A common thread for many of my clients is being faced with an existential necessity to heal through layers of intergenerational, complex trauma and reclaim wholeness. My practice is anti-racist, LGBTQ+ inclusive and centers decolonizing mental health through work with neurodiverse and high sensitives.
My Background and Approach
My approach is unique to each person yet with a similar thread: that is, to ultimately help to unveil the wisdom that is already within you. A graduate of California Institute of Integral Studies and trained in Expressive Arts Therapy, I integrate various therapeutic modalities psychodynamic, attachment-based, somatic, self-psychology, family systems, CBT/DBT, mindfulness, dance/movement and play therapy within an intersectional liberation lens. There are many aspects to my approach, which makes my approach ideal because it’s not a “one size fits all” type of therapy. If you’re looking for someone who thinks outside of the box when it comes to your treatment and puts you first, look no further.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a European-descended queer neurodivergent woman, I center anti-racist and decolonial approaches to mental health. I offer twice monthly trauma-informed somatic expressive arts eco therapy group for women and serve as an intern for a nonprofit surf therapy organization GroundSwell Community Project. My professional experience includes adolescent and adult inpatient treatment, dual diagnosis, psychiatric emergency and detention center, as these populations are near to my heart.
