I enjoy working with both adolescents and adults healing from trauma, anxiety, and depression. I work with clients on ways to increase coping skills, increase self-esteem, and healthy boundaries.
My Background and Approach
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, as well as grounding techniques and expressive therapies such as art or writing prompts. I provide LGBTQ friendly services and welcome all individuals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to change and grow. I think that mental health is greatly impacted by past traumas and systemic oppression. I practice therapy from the framework that everyone has the ability to make the best choices for their life and to incorporate positive change into their life.
