About My Clients
Many of my clients are experiencing challenges with relationships, self-esteem, work /school, past trauma, as well as issues such as grief/loss, illness, or the many other life changes we all face from time to time. Often, these situations are attached to feelings of anger, sadness, fear, emptiness, anxiousness, helplessness, shame, guilt, loneliness and many others. When these emotions become overwhelming, seeking guidance is the quickest way through it all.
My Background and Approach
I am an solution focused therapist that offers judgment-free and personalized support toward a journey of emotional wellness and healing. My education and experiences led to years of working and volunteering at hospitals, community centers, both non-profit and for-profit, both stateside and abroad in underdeveloped countries from many religious backgrounds and cultures. Each person is different, so I use several therapy modalities and interventions that are science based and complementary. My approach is to focus on what is the most challenging right now. I incorporate psychoeducation and teach coping skills for a well managed life. Throughout it all, we self explore to enrich wellbeing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all of us have the potential to change and overcome the challenges we experience. I've been fortunate to witness the remarkable resilience of human life. In addition to working with clients, I created AllyU Organization NFP, a nonprofit organization, labor of love, out of a passion for mental health. AllyU is an emotional wellness social network.
